Pineapple pineapple

I bloody love pineapple!

I even like the woody bit, I slice it thinly, most people discard this bit. Weird.

Pineapple is good for your bones…Its got manganese in it. Which could ward off osteoporosis.

The antioxidants in it are brilliant too, which fight off free radicals that are floating about everywhere!

Pineapple’s bromelain content is the reason for its anti-inflammatory properties. Bromelain is amazing for healing. It is a mixture of enzymes, research suggests that bromelain can have health benefits, such as reducing inflammation and helping heal wounds. You can also use it as a supplement.

There is nothing like a pineapple to get you into a sunshine mood.

I made a smoothie too.

Heres the recipe.

Pineapple - handful

Spinach - half a handful

Cashew nuts - handful

1 banana - whole

1 teaspoon of spirulina

Chia seeds 2 teaspoons

Handful of parsley

Gorgeous greenery!
